Nuredin Ali

I am a first year PhD student at the Universiy of Minnesota advised by Stevie Chancellor. I am interested in Machine Learning in Healthcare. Particularly, I am exicted about how we can use clinical data (i.e. dianosis, test results, patient records, etc) to assist doctors in the decision making process. I like to think about the ethics, interpretability, and fairness of the models as well.

Proir to this I completed my undergraduate studies in Information Systems at Mekelle University by 2020. I am involved in the vibrant Black in AI and Development group of Machanism Design for Social Good communities.

In my spare time I enjoy playing football (soccer).
